1. Who We Are

CHECKEA is an independent kitchen review service providing second opinions and order-checking services for customers purchasing kitchens. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of IKEA or any other retailer.

2. Our Service

CHECKEA reviews kitchen plans, documentation and information supplied by customers and provides recommendations, observations and guidance intended to help reduce ordering mistakes and improve confidence before a purchase is made.

Our services are advisory in nature and should not be considered professional architectural, surveying, installation or engineering advice.

3. Information Provided by Customers

Our review is based entirely on the information, plans, screenshots, measurements and documents submitted by the customer.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to CHECKEA is accurate and complete.

CHECKEA accepts no responsibility for errors arising from inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer.

4. Customer Responsibilities

The customer remains solely responsible for:

Checking all measurements and dimensions.

Verifying quantities and product selections.

Reviewing and approving their final order.

Ensuring products are suitable for their home and installation requirements.

Confirming all details with their retailer or installer before purchase.

5. Limitation of Liability

CHECKEA provides its services with reasonable care and skill. However, no review can guarantee that an order is entirely free from omissions, amendments or additional items that may arise during installation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CHECKEA shall not be liable for:

Additional items required during installation.

Changes to a retailer's product range or pricing.

Installation costs or delays.

Loss of profits, indirect losses or consequential losses.

Costs arising from inaccurate information supplied by the customer.

CHECKEA's total liability arising from any claim relating to the service shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for that service.

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

6. Refund Policy

As CHECKEA provides a digital service that begins shortly after purchase, fees are non-refundable once work has commenced or a report has been delivered.

Refunds may be considered where:

The service has not yet started; or

CHECKEA is unable to provide the purchased service.

Minor omissions, recommendations that differ from an installer's preference, or additional items identified after the review do not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

7. Delivery Times

Any stated turnaround times are estimates and may vary depending on demand and the information provided by the customer.

CHECKEA is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete submissions or circumstances outside of our control.

8. Intellectual Property

All reports, templates, documents and content produced by CHECKEA remain the intellectual property of CHECKEA and may not be reproduced, distributed or sold without prior written permission.

9. Privacy

Information submitted to CHECKEA is used solely for the purpose of delivering the requested service.

We do not sell or share personal information with third parties except where required by law or necessary to process payments and operate our website.

10. Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality and analyse website traffic.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
